Our 3rd Homemade Baby Bears Christening Cake is a gift for my sister’s little niece on her Christening. We used a round 9 inch and 7 inch baking pan. The fondant bears were my first ever fondant figurine creations. I tried 3 different ways to make the bears..the first one, with the baby bottle always seemed to be cracking in the bum area, fixed it by putting a little cape on it. The second one got shorter and fatter by the day, fixed it by cutting off the bum area. The only one that seemed to be ok was the topper bear.
It’s a Banana Chocolate Layer cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. The cake is almost straight this time. One more and we’ll probably get it just right.
