Coolest Baby Rump Cake

This baby rump cake was made for a friend’s baby shower. The cake is a strawberry cream cake with strawberry cream cheese filling and cream cheese frosting and then covered in fondant. I used one half of the Wilton 3d ball cake to make the “rump” and covered it in white fondant for the diaper and put the baby’s monogram on it.

The baby booties and the teddy bear are made of modeling chocolate (this is the 1st time I’ve ever made/worked with modeling chocolate. It was so easy! I will definitely do it again!). The legs and feet of the baby are made from Rice Krispy Treats and then covered in fondant. I used my fondant tools to make the creases in the feet to make them more realistic.

I had a blast making this cake, and everyone loved it!
