I made this Baby Shower Belly Cake for my sister’s baby shower. I used a 13″ by 11″ pan for the base, the sports ball pan for the belly, and the Barbie body pan for the boobs. Once assembled I added a layer of buttercream frosting and then added fondant only to the body.
Once it was all smoothed out I made a fondant bow and added that with a tiny bit of water to hold it in place. Finally I added a shell border with frosting to cover up the seams.
It was very time consuming but a huge hit at the party!
