Coolest Baby Shower Safari Theme Cake

This Baby Shower Safari Theme Cake is a 3 tier cake with butter creme icing and homemade fondant. The homemade fondant is very easy to make, it’s 1-16oz bag of mini marshmallows and add 3 tablespoons of water into a large bowl greased with shortening, and microwave 30 seconds at a time till melted, then add into bowl 1 32oz bag of powdered sugar. Mix with a greased spoon then dump it on a VERY well greased counter and knead till pow. sugar is mixed in and it forms into a smooth ball. Let rest for at least a few hours then roll out amount that is needed to cover a butter creme iced cake.

Add gel color to your liking. The animals are gum paste (a form of fondant but dries hard). I made these trial and error, lets just say they took awhile. I looked at videos on youtube for help.

It was for a baby shower and the girl gave me a picture to look at and I went from there!
