I wanted to make my daughter a Barbie cake that she would remember for years to come, so I searched sites for ideas and just couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I designed the Homemade Barbie Birthday Dress Cake myself.
I used buttercream and I also used fondant because I wanted the dress to have a drape effect and it turned out just as I hoped.
