This basket birthday cake with flowers is a red velvet cake with chocolate butter cream frosting done in basket weave. The daisies and leaves are made with marshmallow fondant. Add the strawberries and candles for an impressive birthday cake.
I made this for my friend’s birthday. Basket weave seems to always impress, and is relatively easy. I used a star tip for this. Flowers can be made in advance, and stored until ready to use. Had fun making this one, and everyone loved it!
