It took a full day of baking 8-9 sheet cakes and then another day of construction for this bass guitar cake. We borrowed a friend’s guitar to draw a layout and then laid out the cakes and cut to match. We did not use fondant . We did use mini Reese’s peanut butter cups for the nobs on the guitar and kisses for the string bars at the top. The “sheet music” was left over cake and icing that we had. It took approx. 4 1/2 hours to decorate.
