This Beach Birthday Cake was so much fun to make. The seashells are all made from chocolate. The flip flops are cake cut out from my daughte’s flip flops.
I traced them and used the paper to cut out the cake. They are iced with buttercream and decorated with fondant. The sand is vanilla wafers chopped finely in a freezer bag with a rolling pin. The water is just blue food coloring in piping gel that I carefully smoothed onto the cake.
