I made this Belly Dance Barbie Birthday Cake for a 50th birthday party for a friend who is a professional belly dancer. The cake was chocolate and there was chocolate frosting under the plastic icing. I covered the skirt with edible glitter.
The beaded bra and belt were both hand stitched. My friend’s favourite flowers are frangipanis so I used these to embellish the 50 candles. This is my second attempt at a Barbie cake, the first was a mermaid cake.
