This homemade Ben 10 birthday cake was the first cake I had ever made using fondant.
I simplified a recipe found online which consisted of one 16 oz bag of marshmallows, 2 lbs of powdered sugar and 2-5 tablespoons of water. It was YUMMY!
Next, I shaped my aliens as if I was working with Polymer clay. After I had finished, I mixed hot water and sugar with food coloring to make an edible paint with which to color each alien. That was it! Lots of patience was involved!
