Sweet Homemade Bob the Builder Cake

My daughter is totally into Bob the Builder, so I Googled a picture of Bob, then enlarged it on a photocopier to fit a baking dish. I then started on my Bob the Builder cake.

I made two packets of Greens butter cake mix in the baking dish to make a slab cake. I traced the enlarged picture of Bob onto baking paper, cut it to size and then cut the cake to shape around the template with a knife.

I’ve used butter cream icing dyed different colours and licorice strap for the belt and trims. The tools are musk sticks and the licorice and the belt buckle is chocolate bullets. The red squares for his checkered shirt is just the soft ready made icing which was super easy to use

It took me 3hrs to ice.
