Coolest Bowling Ball & Pin Cake

Phoebe requested a strawberry cake made from scratch. I made in a 9 X 13 pan. The pin was carved from a template I made by drawing onto wax paper. The 1/2 ball was baked in a glass dish. It took a little longer to bake, but just keep an eye on it and test with a toothpick. The icing was butter cream and colored with Purple soft gel paste.
