This was a college graduation cake for someone who loves boxer dogs. The cake itself was a 14″ round 4″ high vanilla pound cake with a chocolate ganache filling. I put a red fondant ribbon at the base with the name of the college piped on it with royal icing. I also added a fondant diploma and mortar board.
The star of the cake was the dog. I sculpted the dog out of fondant and hand painted it with edible food paint. I made the dog about four days in advance to let it fully dry. Though made of edible materials, the dog was not meant to be eaten. I hope you enjoy my homemade boxer dog cake.
Thank you,

That is the best and most awesome cake i have ever seen! I wish i could have that cake!
This boxer cake is extremely amazing. The creator of this cake is by far one of the most talented artists I have ever had the blessing to gaze upon their cakes. If you don’t, you definitely need to do this for a living. Wonderful likeness. As you can see by my name. I am the mommy of two amazing boxers. Dozer my white, full-blooded 6 yr. old male and Taz my brindle, full-blooded 3 yr. old female. Wonderful breed of dog. Amazing cake!
