My granddaughter Joslyn was turning 4 and she wanted a castle cake and my daughter wanted a Candyland themed cake. So I put both the themes together and this Candyland Castle Cake is what I came up with.
I used boxed cake and regular icing. For the towers I used regular ice cream cones. And for the peaks of the towers I used sugar cones. The trees I used sugar cones and painted them with icing. Everyone loved the cake and said it was really nice.
It didn’t take too long once I got the knack of it. This was my very first cake I decorated.
