Coolest Care Bear Birthday Cake Idea

This Care Bear Birthday Cake Idea was made using a Wilton pan that I hired from my local cake decorating store. It came with the decorating instructions which were fairly easy to follow.

The cake was a buttercake.

I used a grease that I was recommended that sort of looks like Vaseline to grease the tin so the cake wouldn’t stick. It worked amazingly! Much better than butter or oil etc. I unfortunately can’t remember the name of it now!

I used buttercream icing and food colourings for decorating and on it’s tummy purchased a cake transfer which I think are designed to just put straight on a round cake but I put it on the tummy for a bit of interest.

I coated the whole cake in a thin layer of white icing first so the piping would stick and then used a star tip to pipe all the detail.

It was a very fun cake to make but time consuming!
