I got this idea for a Care Bear Cloud Cake from a picture I found when searching for Care Bear cakes. It looked really easy and as it turned out was really easy.
I purchased the Little Care Bear figurines on eBay for 1.99 but they were also available from other party shops and very inexpensive. I used two 12 inch round cake pans and put a thin layer of Wilton recipe frosting in-between. I frosted the whole cake pink as you can see and used round tip 12 for the clouds on the side of the cake with a tip 5 for the dots all around.
For the large clouds on top, I used a tip holder without a tip and then placed the Care Bears on the cake right before the party. My daughter loved it! The baking of the cakes and waiting for them to cool is the most time consuming part.
This cake literally took me 20 minutes to frost and decorate and is a very forgiving design. Thanks for reading and good luck!
