I made this Carousel Cake Design for a church dessert auction. The bottom is a regular 2 layer 8 inch round cake. For the canopy, I used rice krispie treats covered in modeling chocolate and all the decorations are also chocolate. I found a mold for the horses and painted them with melted chocolate and luster dust. I attached the horses to candy sticks and the result was a beautiful carousel.
I must say that this cake reminds me of a beautiful cake I once had the honor of enjoying from a maker. It was a water theme with small boats and a man swimming. I must say you are a truly talented baker
