I baked one 9×13 cake and two 8inch round cakes. I put the two round cakes on top of the 9×13, using frosting between each to help make them hold. I refrigerated the whole thing for about an hour to make sure things wouldn’t be moving, and to speed up the cooling process so that I could start frosting it.
Once cooled, frosted with whipped supreme frosting, then used pink, white, and purple fondant to complete the details. I also cut out small holes in the corners of the 9×13 and put small ice cream cones in them. I frosted them to give the ‘tower’ effect. I used lots of edible glitter, and edible sparkles to make it shine!
My four year old LOVED this Castle Birthday Cake!
