Coolest Castle Cake

I made this castle cake for my niece’s 6th birthday. She really likes castles. I used the Wilton romantic castle kit to make it. I used butter cream frosting to decorate it and it was 4 layers. I used a small round yellow cake for the top and 3 round chocolate cakes for the rest.

It was not very hard for me but took a very long time to decorate. I added 3 little pink and purple flowers to every window. I also made the vines out of butter cream icing as well. The bricks are purple and the cement for the bricks were baby pink.

The toys on the cake are from the Barbie and the Diamond Castle toys. This cake is fairly easy to make the detail’s i added to this cake took the longest. I also added 4 lights, one behind each of the puppies and kitties. The party was a night party so it looked awsome lit up.

I think this cake could be transformed many different ways to fit your own occasion very easily. I have only been making specialty cake for about one year. The detail took about 18 hours. I really enjoyed making this cake, it is my favorite so far.
