Adorable Homemade Chocolate Cat Cake

This Cat Cake was requested by co-workers at my “day job” for a woman who loves cats and would no longer be with our company. This is a Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. It was very easily cut and assembled starting with a sheet pan. Then the appropriate size round pans to cut the head and body. The ears and tail were found within extra cake scraps. I iced the pieces separate then attached with buttercream. A simple circular swirl in the frosting gives the appearance of round paws. 2007
