I made two different sized circle cakes for this Cat Cake. One for the head and one for the body. I used a sponge to cut out the tail, ears and feet. To fit the head snuggly into the body I used the tin of the head as a template to ensure the head fitted into the body.
Decorating:
Cover in colored butter cream icing. Use a hot knife to smooth. Then using candy covered chocolates make the rainbow pattern. Use liquorice for the whiskers, mouth, nose ears and feet. Marshmallows for the eyes and then a white chocolate button and a brown chocolate candy.
