My friend asked if I would try to make a Celtics Cake for her husband John. Hesitantly, I agreed. It was my first time decorating a cake like this. I baked two 14″ round cakes since it needed to feed a lot of people. I used Fondant and discovered it really was easy to do! I transferred the Leprachaun picture and enlarged it to the size I needed. Then, just like the Paper Dolls of old, proceeded to do cutouts with an exacto knife.
I then put everything together on the cake and it came out pretty nice! I frosted the cake with Buttercream frosting, basically using a Star tip, since it was easier to do. The cake was a hit!
