Cool Homemade Clifford Birthday Cake Design

My daughter wanted a Clifford Birthday Cake Design for her 4th birthday. I looked around the internet for coloring pages and when I found one that I liked, I enlarged it and cut it out. Then I traced the perimeter of Clifford onto a 1/2 sheet cake that was made with two store-bought cake mixes and iced with buttercream.

Then I freehanded the features, outlined them with a writing tip, and filled them in with a star tip. I used a grass tip to make grass all over the bottom of the cake and made dog bones around the rest of the sides of the cake. My daughter always wants to use balloon on the cake so I put them into Clifford’s paws like he is holding them.

It was a pretty easy cake to make and I loved the red and black with the grass.
