After reading a few other reviews on here I improvised on the Elmo cake pan as well but giving the monster a bigger mouth and frosting over the nose shape in the pan. I made buttercream icing tinted royal blue for the fur and chocolate icing for the mouth.
The addition of a couple of chocolate chip cookies on the Cookie Monster Birthday Cake made for one very happy 2 year old’s birthday !
