I was asked to make this cop cake for a cop’s 40th birthday and he just so happened to be promoted around the same time!! The hat is all cake carved and covered in fondant with fondant details on it and the badge is chocolate that I brushed with silver luster dust. I had piped his badge number on there too.
The bottom tier is iced in butter cream with a few fondant decorations like the “40” and the famous caution tape and the gun on the side was also hand cut out of fondant. The other details on the bottom tier are all made out of chocolate like the handcuffs etc. And of course what cop cake isn’t complete without a donut on top, that is made out of fondant and then dipped in some white chocolate and sprinkles added just for a little touch of birthday fun!!
