Coolest Despicable Me Minion Cake

I made this Despicable Me Minion Cake for my boyfriend for his 19th birthday in March. I was SO pleased with it!

I used a rectangle baking tin for the body, and cut it in half to make the two layers, and then shaped it. I used vanilla butter icing to sandwich the layers, then also to stick on the coloured ready roll icing, and the arms etc. The arms were made of cut off’s and the feet were just made of icing. I coloured all of the ready roll icing myself, they aren’t as bright colours as I’d have liked, but it was as best as I could do with what I had!
