This dinosaur cake was made from two 7 inch chocolate sponge cakes. I chopped two thirds off both cakes for the main body and then used the leftover cake to shape tail, head and legs.
Then I made up some thick butter icing and with green food colouring to do the covering and provide some texture. Toberlone pieces were used for the dinosaur’s spikes and chocolate buttons/chocolate drops for his pattern. I used marshmallows to decorate the face.
