I made this dog cake for Easter. I made a dog with bunny ears! I took an 8″ round cake, cut it in half for the body. I added pieces of cake to make the legs, paws and nose area. I used whipped icing with the large 3 star tip to make the fur for dog. I made the eyes and nose from black fondant. The tongue from pink fondant.
I used fondant for the bunny ears, placed them on a wire to stay on the had of the dog. I wanted to make a dog cake just to see if I could do it and it just so happened to be Easter and that’s why I gave him bunny ears!
My family loved it! The dog cake is a huge hit!
