I had intentions of doing a 10″ double layer with a 3-D duck on top. However, something went haywire with the duck. So made another batch of cakes and did a stacked tier and went from there. Overall I was happy with the way the Ducky Cake turned out.
It’s covered with Marshmallow Fondant. The balls are also MMF as are the ducks. The ducks were painted with yellow pearl dust and the cake balls with white pearl dust. Gave it a bit extra ‘oomph’. The duck on top was just one I grabbed out of the tub! (washed of course!)
