I made these cakes for my families Easter get together. I bought the pan at Target a couple years ago. Last year, I made a home-made Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting, but this year I wanted to do something a little more fun.
I used a boxed cake mix, and store bought frosting that I thickened a little with powdered sugar and colored with a few drops of coloring. Spread the frosting as smooth as possible and sprinkle matching edible colored glitter to match. Then for the border, just alternate the colored Peeps candies.
It was a big hit with everyone!!
