My middle daughter was turning 8. She loves Peeps and Jello so she decided on an 8th birthday cake with a Jello pond and Peeps on top.
- We baked the cakes and then cut a hole in the top layer.
- We made the Jello and let it start to set up.
- We transferred the Jello to the hole in the cake- this was the hardest part and I didn’t get it smooth but she liked it.
- Finally, my daughter picked the frosting colors and chocolate decorations as well as the Peeps to go on top.
Everyone loved the cake and the Jello was a neat alternative to ice cream. My little girl was thrilled with the result.
