My daughter Noelle, celebrated her 10th birthday and used “Rock Star” as the theme. I’ve always loved baking but my creations never came out that great visually. I used the Wilton guitar cake pan, and mainly followed the decorating instructions for the Electric Guitar Birthday Cake, but instead of making all the frostings, I did buy a black premade (the one that comes with the tips) and I also added Wilton purple edible glitter to the whole thing, it was a huge hit.
Because it was a big party, I made two cakes and stacked them with a layer of frosting and they held together well! I put normal foil on a cake board, and then put the whole thing into a cake box. The colors were vibrant and it tasted great too! This was my first time doing a cake like this and the star tip for decorating was really easy!
