Cute Homemade Elmo Face Cake for my Son's First Birthday

I made this Elmo cake for my son’s first birthday. I got idea from some other cakes on this site..

I made a basic white cake and 3 cup cakes for eyes and nose. I used moistening orange juice and sugar as moistening syrup for the cake. Also gave a glaze with orange juice and orange flavored jelly on top of the cake which gave it excellent taste.

I used Wilton black color mixed in melted chocolate for Elmo’s mouth. Wilton no taste red and Betty Crocker cream cheese icing for Elmo’s face. Elmo’s eyes are creme cheese icing and 2 blue berries.

My baby loved it. This is the first time I’ve iced a cake so I consider this as an achievement.
