I’m an Italian girl (I’m from Sicily) and I made this Fender Strato Cake for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. The guitar body is made of sponge cake, or what we call “Pan di Spagna” filled with three layers of custard cream, covered with almonds batter (Sicilian “pasta reale”). The handle is the same but covered with chocolate.
Then I made the pick-up with vanilla wafer, the licorice strings and white chocolate potentiometers. And this is the result!
