Another Firetruck Cake that requires no baking! The base is made from three Asda Madeira slab cakes glued together with jam. The covering is ready made butter icing coloured green and piped on with a star tip, the road is a thin layer of black sugar sprinkled over buttercream.
I made the duck pond using a small piece of blue fondant, the ducks were made from white fondant and the beaks from a little bit cut off of a dolly mixture. The lettering was cut from blue and red fondant.
To make the fire engine and the base of the truck, I used Tesco Madeira cakes and just carved the shape out. The back of the truck was made from malted milk biscuits glued together with buttercream and filled with mini smarties. I used dolly mixtures and mini smarties for the headlights and sirens.
