This homemade flower cake is really easy – Just bake a cake in an oven tray, draw the shape of the flower required (using as much of the cake as possible); cut the cake using the template you drew; then use heaps of icing in what ever colour you want.
I chose some gel writing icing pens for definition of shape and contrasting colour. Then I used fairy dust around the petals… Of all the homemade flower cakes I’ve seen, I think this is the most prettiest flower cake – that still looks home-made – ever!
