Cool Homemade 3 Tiered Graduation Cake

I created this Graduation Cake for a kid’s graduation party. I used fondant on the layers and premixed color fondant for the shapes. The hat was made in a cereal bowl. The top of the hat is a piece of card stock.

I was going to hang a tassel at the top, but ran out of time to tie it securely. This cake can easily be done using round cake pans. It will actually be easier to put the fondant on. The edges were hard to fix, so most just have shapes on top of the seams!
