This Homemade Grover Birthday Cake is for my 33 year old daughter that absolutely loves Grover! I bought two Halloween aluminum pumpkin cake pans (they had kind of an oblong shape). Once baked, I cut an indent on one side of the baked cake so both sides matched; I used half of a pink plastic Easter egg for the nose, rolled out fondant frosting for the eyes.
This made a two layer cake. I used a Wilton Icing colors and deluxe tip decorating set for the finished product.
What an awesome job! I Love it! Want to make this cake for my daughters 2nd birthday. What tip # did you use for the blue fur?
Thanks!
This is the cutest thing I have ever seen!
What frosting recipe did you use to get the fur to look like that?
