I made this homemade guitar cake for my sister’s 18th birthday. She plays the guitar, and I snuck into her room to take pictures of it to model the cake after. The cake itself was yellow, and I used two 12×18 pans to create it. I then cut out the shape of the guitar base and neck myself.
The frosting was simple white. I used Rolos and and white chocolate chips for some of the knobs and buttons, and the rest of the white frosting in a pastry bag to create the strings.
