Coolest Guitar Cake

I actually used a Guitar Hero Guitar as a template for this life sized guitar cake. Trace the actual guitar onto a very large piece of cardboard, then keeping in mind you’ll be using 2 rectangular cakes, cut the cardboard guitar into pieces that you can fit together to make the guitar.

Once the cakes are ready, you can use your cardboard templates to cut the cakes into the pieces you’ll need. Once your cake is fitted together, ice it all white, then add accents (I used various candies to replicate the guitar). The one thing I would definitely do differently is to use black food coloring paste as opposed to the spray on black food coloring that didn’t quite make the guitar “arm” look as black as it should.
