Cool Homemade Hannah Montana Cake With Guitar Topper

This Hannah Montana Guitar Cake was made for my cousin’s 8th birthday and is the 2nd cake I’ve decorated.

The cake is from a Victoria sponge recipe and is stuck together with jam and then covered in buttercream. All the decorations are made by hand and from Fondant icing.

First of all, I coloured some icing purple and covered the cake in this. Once it had set and dried I made 2 circles from yellow icing and made a number 8 with these.

The guitar was made from lilac icing and decorated using yellow icing and icing gel pens. The stars and butterflies were supplied by a friend.

Lets just say she loved it, and I think I’ll be making their birthday cakes every year from now on.
