I baked and iced this Hello Kitty Birthday Cake for my daughter’s 7th birthday party on Saturday 30th January 2010.I used 2 large rectangular pans – one for the head and one for the body. Luckily I have a DesertPro icing gun so it only took me about 20 minutes to ice the entire cake.
All my daughter’s friends were amazed at the cake so it was a hit! After the party all that was left was the top left hand corner with the ear on it. Although the cake was fun to make and the result was great I would not do this for anyone else – my thumb was strained after icing all the blobs. The black border icing made a huge difference and is highly recommended.
