Coolest Hello Kitty Birthday Cake

I used Hello Kitty as the theme for my daughter’s first birthday. I first iced the Hello Kitty birthday cake with white icing, then I iced the top of the cake with pink icing. I traced the Hello Kitty from a napkin on to wax paper and cut out the shape. I traced it on the cake with a toothpick and outlined it in black I filled in with a star tip.

I was really happy with the cake, especially since I just started decorating cakes. I also cut out the shape of the flowers from the same napkin (traced on wax paper) and piped the outline on the cake, then I filled them in with a star tip.
