I designed a 3D Hello Kitty Cake for a 4 year old. I made a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling. I used my gigantic cupcake cake pan for the body and the head was made using a mini pumpkin cake pan.
I made marshmallow fondant for the body of the cake which I placed over top after putting a layer of butter cream to “dirty ice” it first. I used chocolate dipping wafers for the eyes. I made the arms and feet out of rice krispie treats and attached them on with dowel rods that I bought at Dollarama.
This was a really fun cake to make..everyone enjoyed it, so I heard. I cut out flowers and some other decals to give it more character from the fondant. I actually have a couple more Hello Kitty cakes to do after people saw this one.
