This Hello Kitty Castle Cake was inspired by my 3 year old niece who loves Hello kitty. Also I got a few idea’s from the website!
I started by using 2 10in round cakes for bottom tier, the top tier is a 6 in cake, also made some cupcakes. I covered them all with white butter cream. The bow on top was made with gum paste. I used 12 ice cream cones dipped in white chocolate for the towers and placed the cupcakes on top. The castle door was created using pink wafer cookies.
The Hello Kitty rings and Hello Kitty figurines were purchased at Toys R us. The hearts were little cakes decorating candies. The “grass” was piped using the Betty Crocker decorating icing in the can. The flowers were silk flowers I bought for $1.
I had so much fun making this cake and the big smile on my niece’s face made it even more worth it!
