I tried baking a cake in this pan previous times but the batter would always stick, I looked up tips online and they said make sure and grease with shortening and flour really good.
I made this Homemade Hello Kitty Shaped Pan Cake for my three year old daughter’s birthday. She was so happy! It took a bit longer to do than I was expecting. I had it done right as we had to leave for the pizza place!
The whole cake is frosted with home made buttercream. I used the star tip in white to do the whole thing. The eyes and nose were piped in with a small hole tip and then I smoothed them down flat with my finger dipped in cornstarch.
