This Homemade Horse Birthday Cake was made using a Wilton ring insert pan. To use, you place the ring in the pan upside down, pour your batter right in. It doesn’t leak at all. The insert part baked the indentation of the horse onto the cake.
I made it a little on the thin layer side, as there were only 2 people who were to eat it.
I mae a sour cream cake from scratch, with homemade buttercream frosting.
