I found a picture of Yoda online for this Homemade Yoda Birthday Cake. Then made the base cake which is a 10×14 yellow cake, a 6″ round chocolate for Yoda’s head, and a 10″ round chocolate for ears. Cut out his ears and shape of his face, then crumb coated.
I used store bought icing and colored with Wilton’s gel colors, Christmas red for the base and black for border. The Yoda greens were the hardest colors to get right,used leaf green, yellow and purple. Then free hand iced his face with appropriate colors. Used toothpick for fine lines.
I love it and need something that will be a little less time consuming then a standing yoda!
