Coolest Jewelry Box Birthday Cake

I made this Jewelry Box Birthday Cake for my Grandmother’s 70th birthday party; her theme was diamonds and pearls. The cake was nine layers with the use of nineteen cake box mixes. I used Wilton square boxes baking pans and then cut the cakes into the desired shapes.

The fondant is a marshmallow recipe that I tinted teal to match the Tiffany blue. I used gum paste to create the bow for the top layer, and I bought the edible flowers on the cake. I dusted the entire cake with white pearl dust for the added shimmer. I decorated the cake board with diamonds and pink flower petals and lined each layer with Wilton’s pearls.

I really enjoyed making this cake I got the idea from a picture I saw on Google and decided to try it and I think it turned out great.
