I made this John Deere Tractor Cake for a co-worker and I used the same idea that I found on this website. The tractor alone wasn’t enough cake for the party so I added the trailer and hay bales.
I used the plastic tractor pan that I purchased from my local cake decorating shop and I made a 1/2 sheet cake to cut the trailer, tires, and hay bales. I believe the other lady that made this cake on the site said she should have used cupcakes instead of cutting circles from the sheet cake – I should have listened!
I iced everything in buttercream and finished the tractor with the star tip.
